IVYBRIDGE TOWN U16 · SAFEGUARDING & PRIVACY Team websiteThe public website celebrates the team. Personal availability, fitness, development and coach communication stay inside protected accounts.
This page describes the safeguards built into the U16 hub. It is not a claim that The FA or the ICO has approved the website. Before all player accounts are issued, Ivybridge Town FC should approve the hub, involve its Club Welfare Officer, confirm the lawful basis and parent or player information process, complete an appropriate risk assessment and DPIA, and check insurance.
Players and coaches use different sign-in routes. A player cannot open coach controls and a coach account cannot be used as a player account.
The hub records availability, simple activity information and coaching notes. We do not collect home addresses, school details, live location, GPS routes or detailed medical profiles.
A player message is visible to the authorised U16 coaching team. Coaches must keep communication football-related and inside the club-controlled hub.
Photos and clips must be appropriate and covered by the club’s permissions. Uploaded match media stays private until it is separately approved for publication.
A player or parent can ask the club to correct information, provide a copy or delete the account when the player leaves, subject to any lawful club record-keeping need.
Technology supports the team. It does not replace the Club Welfare Officer, safeguarding procedures, appropriate supervision or the club’s reporting routes.
Speak directly to a parent or carer, the Club Welfare Officer or another trusted adult. If somebody is in immediate danger, contact the emergency services.
Any future Apple Watch or fitness-tracker connection will be deliberately limited to the total distance and activity duration needed for football development. The hub will not request, import, display or store GPS routes, start points, end points or live locations. Tracker connections remain switched off until the club has approved this restricted design and the privacy assessment is complete.
